My client is a therapist and came to me when she was ready to open her own private practice. She was looking for the space to be calm, warm, and a place she could even use for her own meditation. As I designed the office, I kept in mind to stick to neutrals, colors of the beach and colors of a peacock(her favorite), to create the mood we were looking for. These were the color palettes I kept referring back to.

This is the inside cover of an antique book that I framed. The colors worked perfectly with our palette. I also added a little pop of pink to each side of the room, which added a bit of contrast and vibrancy. When decorating a therapy office, you want to stick with neutrals and soothing colors. The small added pops of contrasting color is optional, but I think it gives just the right amount of a boost of energy to the room. You definitely want your clients want your clients to feel calm and relaxed, but you don't want then falling asleep! :)

I found this vase and fell in love! I was looking for some white pieces to contrast the blue wall and this piece adds great texture.I placed a trailing plant inside the vase and I love how it breathes life into the office! |

WHAT'S COMING NEXT?
